BSNL, the grand old telecom company of India has also entered the tariff warfare by announcing the cheapest tariff plan till now, even cheaper than Reliance Jio. Under its new offer, BSNL will provide 10 GB of data to it’s users every day on a recharge of Rs 249.
The new offer can be availed by recharging with Rs 249. However it doesn’t provides free calling like Reliance Jio does. The free calling on BSNL is only active between 9 PM to 7 AM apart from Sunday where it is free throughout the day. It also lacks on the parameter of speed and lags behind all the telecom providers.
Under its Rs 249 plan, data speed is capped at 2 MBps. However there’s still no confirmation from BSNL officials whether the designated speed will decrease once the daily data limit is finished. By far it is the cheapest plan offered in India and is expected to give Reliance Jio a run for it’s money.Reliance has already shaken the telecom market especially after it extended the deadline of it’s prime membership plan and even introduced a new summer offer. It has already got more than 72 million subscribers under its prime membership plan and is expected to get a few millions more.
